CASCAD-e Developers

CASCAD-e has been developed over the last four years through a collaborative effort between Professor R. Glenn Allen, Dr. J. Gordon Davis, and Mr. Joseph E. Hanley.

Joseph Hanley is President of CASCAD-e Systems and Davis Consulting Group, Inc.  Joe has thirty-seven years of project management and project scheduling experience since his graduation from Ohio University with a degree in Architecture.  Joe has been an integral member of construction management teams on numerous projects such as: Oil Pipeline Water Injection Facilities in Saudi Arabia for Fluor Arabia and Aramco,  Nuclear Power Plant facilities for Zimmer Nuclear Power Plant in Moscow, Ohio, IBM Entry Systems Division Facilities in Delray Beach, Florida that launched the personal computer,  Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport Project Schedule, Olympic Committee CODA Project Management for the 1996 Olympic games,  Ritz Carlton Hotel Project Scheduling in the Grand Cayman Islands, to name a few.  The goal of Joe’s construction scheduling services are to provide clients with a roadmap for success and to complete projects on time. Joe has years of experience using the top of the line scheduling software for clients.  Joe’s experience with scheduling software has been instrumental in developing CASCAD-e software, which is an innovative scheduling software tool now available to the market place.

Gordon Davis is an Industrial Engineering graduate of The University of Florida and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He served for ten years on the faculty of the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. He is a founding member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), and became a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia in 1967. Gordon is an arbitration panelist for the American Arbitration Association and has served on the National Academy of Science's Committee on Change Orders in the Construction Industry.

Glenn Allen is Professor and Program Director of Mechatronics Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University. He has served on the faculty of SPSU since 1995 specializing in computer graphics and industrial automation systems. Glenn's professional experience includes working as a Flight-Test Engineer with Lockheed-Georgia, a Field Sales Engineer with Intel Corporation, and as co-founder and CEO of CadCom Telesystems. He also serves as Director of Georgia BEST Robotics to help stimulate middle and high school student interest in math, science, and engineering careers. Glenn is an active member of the American Society of Engineering Education and the International Society of Automation..
